Bolder Boulder 2005

Every Memorial day for the past six years I wake up at sun rise and join 45,000 other crazy people in a 6.21 mile jog around Boulder. This was the second year Stephanie joined me. Also, this year Stephanie's dad and my dad decided to get in on the fun. We also met up with my former roomy Brad.

Jamie Markham Wedding

On this gorgeous Thursday afternoon my high school buddy Jamie married his sweetie Stacey. The wedding was in Lyons which made for some great scenary. Here is a pic of me congratulating the groom, Jamie, and groomsman Kenny after the vows. It was great to see Jamie again and even better to see him so happy!

iPod Shuffle Car Stereo Attempt

I'm sure you are familiar with the concept of a How-To, well this is a How-Not-To documenting my attempt to connect my iPod Shuffle to my car stereo. I thought that I could simply purchase a mini y adapter (headphones to RCA red/white) and use that to connect the two devices. Turns out that in addition to connecting the audio interface (red/white RCA) the external device needs a source controller. You need to also plug this source controller cabe into the car stereo so that the stereo recognizes the device. This is probably self-evident to most of you but my best friend Daren said it would work and he is pretty saavy with stereo electronics.
