In 2002,
We both started our Junior year of undergrad at CU. Stephanie and Mike had the same major, Kinesiology, and during the Fall semester they had physics and anatomy lab together. They had many study dates and even partnered up in anatomy lab one day! Mike got Stephanie's phone number, she went with him to his work holiday party, and the rest is history...
In 2004,
We both finished our bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology from CU. Stephanie began working at a physical therapy clinic in Broomfield while Mike worked in Boulder as a research assistant.
In 2005,
Stephanie entered in the DPT program at Regis in Denver and Mike began work on his Masters degree in Neurophysiology at CU.
In 2006,
In August Stephanie and Mike had an opportunity to visit Peru with a family Stephanie and I met in Broomfield. Mike finished his Masters in December.
In 2007,
In August Stephanie planned a surprise vacation to New York and Washington DC. Mike began work on his PhD in January.
In 2008,
In March Mike proposed to Stephanie. In May Stephanie graduated from Regis with her doctorate in physical therapy. Stephanie moved to Madison, WI for a year long residency.
In 2009,
Stephanie continues to perform her residency at the Univ of Wisconsin, while Mike continues working on his doctorate at CU. On July 25, 2009 Mike and Stephanie will become husband and wife.
